Supporting Children with Autism
A two meeting series with individual follow-up and support to help you successfully care for a child with autism in your program. Topics will include classroom integration, adaptation of curriculum, and ways to support healthy social interaction.
This series will be conducted at the Ann Arbor Preschool
Session 1: Autism Spectrum Disorder
Session 2: Supporting a child with an ECSE Classroom part-time – including how to work with the teacher, materials, techniques, and the special education world
Training is followed by individual visits, mentoring and support provided by Ann Arbor Preschool for Ann Arbor students, other students for their students.
Times Available:
**all trainings will be held at the Ann Arbor Preschool from 1-3 p.m.
