Thriving With Challenging Youngsters

A six meeting series for your staff that will focus on the more challenging behaviors of young children, and how to work within your center setting to meet needs, reduce conflicts and better prepare the children you work with for school.

The schedule for this series will be made available to fit your center’s needs and availability and therefore each session could be longer or shorter than displayed.

Session 1: (2.5 hours) Development and Language as it relates to challenging behavior

Session 2: (2.5 hours) Conversation or Conflict: The importance of a well-organized environment

Session 3: (5 hours) Guidance and Discipline Strategies and Provider/Parent relationships
