How can I make a difference in early childhood issues?

The first step is to join the Washtenaw County Great Start Parent Coalition. Simply click the "Join Now" button and you will be added to our e-mail list to receive a welcome message, invitations to upcoming events, and the monthly parent newsletter.

The next step is to take an action. Start small and simply find out who are your elected officials. Click this link and enter your zip code to find out who represents you in the State of Michigan. 

Finally, make your voice heard. It is that easy. Chose an issue that is important to you – availability of quality childcare, health insurance for children, or infant safety programs. Now simply click on your elected official's name at http://www.house.mi.gov/replist.asp and write...
